ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE BACK BY
MAY 20. 2022
PLEASE RETURN THEM TO THE LIBRARY BY THAT DATE!
When a student logs into Sora and then searches the catalog for the Billings Public Library, as you go to checkout a book it will ask you to sign in. You just need to pick Billings Public Schools and then put in your barcode number again. It should work for you. You do not need a public library card to use the Public Library ebooks. Contact Mrs. Meyer if it does not work.
Hello, my name is Andrea Meyer. I am Eagle Cliffs' Library Media Specialist.
I am beginning my 27th year as a LMS in the school district. It is a dream job! I am looking forward to a great experience for the 2021-2022 school year.
I love to teach kids how to use the library for research, learning and discovering new genres and authors they never thought they'd like. Books are a passion of mine, but teaching kids to use the library is one of my greatest joys!
After the past year, I am hoping normalcy is a reality, not just a new vocabulary word.
This year, I will be working with grades 2-5 on Digital Citizenship, research, and finding great books to read for information and for enjoyment. We will soon be using a new library curriculum. It won't change the library much, but will change the way kids research or discover new information.
Kindergarten, Grade 1, Primary Life Skills and Independent Living classes will be introduced to some fun picture books, new releases, and some old favorites.
Please feel free to contact me at the library by email or by phone during school hours. If I am not available, leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I am able.
Of course I had to include Jeppy J again. He is our delightful companion - a true joy. He'll be 5 this year, the same number of years I will have been at Eagle Cliffs.
